This is just eh first of many great featuresthat put the Mini Osprey ahead of all other scopes on the market.Developed with input from our user community, the Mil-Dot type red luminousreticle has internal windage/elecation adjustments via knobs conveniently placedon the right of the eyepiece. This type of reticle makes it easy to find andhold an object. It can be completely switched off when not required or when thescope is used for photography/video purposes. The contorls are ergonomicallydesigned and can be used with ease in total darkness. The Mini Ospreyfeatures a silent power supply unit developed exclusively for OSPREY INTERNATIONALINC. products. If you have used other night vision devices in thepast, you will quietly appreciated this feature. The large 42mm multi-coatedfront lens provides high light gathering capabilities while maintaining thescope's compact profile. The oblique rubber eye shade makes viewing morecomfortable while shiedling the green glow of the electro/optical lightamplifier from outside observation. The powerful built-in infrared illuminatorprovides additional 'invisiable' light to enhance viewing when the subject is inshadows or complete darkness. The Mini Osprey offers a unique remoteon-off switch that can be located on the stock of a forepiece of a rifle, thusenabling the shooter to acitvated the NV scope without removing their handsfrom the weapon.
