Designed for storage and transportation of biological material. Manufactured from nontoxic polypropylene. Tubes have external threads and a smooth, uniform inner surface that reduces the risk of contamination. These virtually unbreakable tubes feature a self-standing base and clear sides. Tubes 14231-886 feature graduations from 1–9mL in 0.5mL increments and a white marking area for sample identification. Polyethylene caps 14231-888 feature a flexible inner sealing lip that ensures a leakproof seal. Polyethylene caps 14231-890 feature a silicone O-ring for the most secure seal. All caps also feature a long skirt and may be removed or sealed with only a single turn. Tube Dimensions (with cap):17 dia. x 84H mm (11/16 x 35/16")
