Nikon SMZ-445 StereoZoom Microscope 83600 Set with 10X Eyepieces and Plain Focusing Stand, includes the Nikon SMZ-445 (MMA23008) Stereo Microscope that delivers the outstanding optical performance you expectimage from Nikon 's cutting-edge stereoscopic zoom microscopes. Porro prisms enable a lightweight, compact zoom microscope like the included Nikon Stereo SMZ-445 with 0.8x - 3.5x zoom magnification (Zoom Ratio 4.4:1). High quality images with superior flatness are achieved by following the optical design and quality criteria of all Nikon 's high performance stereoscopic microscopes . The multicoated lenses provide clear, bright and high contrast images. The long working distance of 100mm allows safe focusing even with specimens having markedly uneven surfaces. This is useful when using tweezers, dissection tools or a pipette during specimen manipulation. The inside of the zooming body is treated with a mold-resistant finish. This maintains the quality of the microscope optics even in hot, humid environments. The ergonomic base is compact and thin, designed to be robust for all uses. The set includes dedicated 10x eyepieces with diopter adjustments for parfocality. Combining the Nikon SMZ-445 (MMA23008) with 10x eyepieces with rubber eyecups makes for a perfect stereoscopic biological microscope. We are an Authorized US Distributor for Nikon Microscopes.
