This Nikon IRT Scope is a rangefinder and a riflescope in one device. imageNikon 4-12 x 42mm IRT Laser Rangefinding Riflescope features Nikon Patent Pending Immediate Ranging Technology that offers one touch, continuous ranging for easy usage in the field. The Nikon IRT riflescope is the result of Nikons riflescope renowned building expertise combined with its prowess in creating hunting's most sought after Nikon rangefinder. Long range shots are now easier then ever, thanks to the speed and simplicity of this unique rifle scope. This particular Nikon IRT system consists of patent pending technology including the Nikon BDC (Bullet Drop Compensating) Reticle and an integral Laser rangefinder that return precise and continuous distance readings with a single touch of the button. This Nikon Scope literally takes the guesswork out of where to hold on longer shots. Nikon unique one touch laser activator can also be operated via the included remote control switch for unmatched speed and convenience. Nikon patend-pending BDC trajectory-compensating reticle was desighed and calibrated to provide fast, simple aiming points for various known-shot distances. These small "ballistic circles" allow unimpeded views of even smaller targets at long range. With most standard centerfire cartridges, the Nikon BDC reticle provides aiming points out to 500 yards, with a 100-yard sight-in.
