Single-Use Carboys, HDPE, NALGENE*

These high-density polyethylene, disposable carboys are ideal for storing and transfer of sterile fluids and pharmaceutical/biotech reagents. Tough, lightweight containers have a wide mouth for easy filling, with an I.D. of 6.4cm. Carboys use the 83B size closure system, which accepts NALGENE accessories for aseptic filling and venting (see 16225-228 series). Shoulder tabs accommodate optional stainless steel handle 16211-504 for easy lifting and can also be used for attaching identity tags. Carboys have excellent chemical resistance and are well suited for use from –100°C (–148°F) to near boiling. Capacity: 20L (5.3gal.).

Choose sterile (10-6 SAL) or nonsterile carboys. All materials are noncytotoxic. They meet food-grade and USP Class VI requirements.
