Securely hold 0.5 or 1.5mL microcentrifuge tubes. Two-tiered design increases visibility of conical end of tube. Round holes in upper and lower tiers support tubes below the lip and at the conical bottom for easy access and stability. Widely spaced holes minimize overlapping lips. Each hole has molded-in letters and numbers for easy sample identification. Racks are stackable when empty or full. Autoclavable. Ideal for DNA sequencing. Racks withstand most lab chemicals except for acids.
