Designed for full coverage of spectrophotometric applications with the ability to read from visible to UV wavelengths, these photometers feature a built-in monochromator. This makes it easy to select any wavelength from 200nm to 1000nm in 1nm steps without ever changing a filter. Each unit reads the native absorbances of DNA, RNA, and proteins, and the narrow bandwith of just 2nm ensures consistently accurate absorbance measurements. Each unit also features complete robot compatibility for high-volume testing. Both photometers are compatible with 6-well to 384-well microplates. The photometer with cuvette holder is also compatible with standard cuvettes down to ultramicro 50µL cuvettes. Photometers include the SkanIt* research edition software for easy assay setup, real-time data measurement, and data analysis. SkanIt drug discovery edition that is 21 CFR Part 11 compliant is available separately.
