The stereo zoom microscope features rugged, die-cast metal construction, diopter adjustment on both eyetubes with interpupillary distance adjustment between 54 and 76mm, and a pair of widefield highpoint 10x, 20mm eyepieces. Strong incident and transmitted halogen illumination is provided by a 12V, 10W bulb with intensity control. The working distance is 80mm without auxiliary objective, and the continuous zoom range of 1x to 4x requires no refocussing through the entire magnification range. Microscope has bilateral zoom control knobs for comfort and flexibility of use. The SMZ-140 features a 45° inclined, 360° rotational binocular head.
