Product Category Description:

This high-quality general-purpose laboratory washer is equipped with three wash programs designed to handle a variety of laboratory cleaning applications. It includes a stainless steel exterior cabinet for freestanding or undercounter installations and a wash chamber made of polished 304/316 grade stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance and durability.

Washer features built-in upper and lower spray arms and allows the use of standard baskets or injection baskets to accommodate a wide variety of glassware types. A four-stage filter system prevents both redeposit of contaminant on glassware and pump damage. A built-in water softener ensures optimal detergent/cleaning performance regardless of your water hardness. A unique “waterproof” system protects against flooding through double-wall water intake hoses that divert leaks to a drip tray, which then shuts off the water lines and activates the drain pump.

Separate pumps for circulation of wash water and drainage help eliminate cross-contamination between wash and drain steps. The wash pump is rated at 106gpm for thorough cleaning and is monitored by a speed sensor to protect against overheating and pump failure. The wash programs offer a range of cleaning intensity with a typical cycle including a prewash, a wash at 70°C (158°F) with powder detergent dispensed, a rinse with mild acid neutralizing agent dispensed, and a final rinse with distilled water at 70°C (158°F). Additionally, a 10-minute gravity-convected drying step can be selected with any wash program.

The washer is available without baskets and also comes in four easy-to-order packages:

The dual level standard cleaning package (62111-812) includes the washer, upper and lower baskets, two mesh baskets, and two inserts for beakers.

The single level injection cleaning package (62111-814) includes the washer, a half injector basket for volumetric flasks and graduated cylinders (one side of the basket has 19 injection ports and the other side is open), and an insert for beakers. Items up to approximately 47cm (181/2") tall can be cleaned with this package.

The dual level injection cleaning package (62111-816) includes the washer, an upper injector basket with 34 injectors, and a lower injection basket with 33 injectors.

The dual level combination cleaning package (62111-818) includes the washer and all the following accessories: standard upper and lower baskets, upper and lower injector baskets for a total of 67 injectors, two mesh baskets, and two inserts for beakers.
