XS Series analytical balances offer a variety of uses in pharmaceutical, chemical, food, cosmetic, research and development, and quality control applications. They feature the unique SmartGrid* weighing pan, which is supported at the rear of the weighing chamber, for more efficient weighing. The SmartGrid weighing pan has only minimal solid area to minimize buoyancy caused by turbulance, shortening stabilization time for faster results. In combination with the optional weighing kit (11276-932), which includes ErgoClips*, the SmartGrid weighing pan becomes an ergonomic weighing system that can be precisely adapted to specific tasks and can help to increase productivity. ErgoClips click securely onto the grid weighing pan and can hold round-bottom flasks, test tubes, plastic tubes, and more. All units have backlit graphic display with touch-screen operation, fully automatic internal adjustment, and a built-in RS-232 interface. These balances make cleaning easy with a draft shield that can be completely dismantled. The dishwasher-safe inner base plate and SmartGrid weighing pan can also be removed for easy cleaning. Peripherals can be connected via the built-in RS-232 interface or an optional second interface (purchased separately). The following optional interfaces are available: Bluetooth (wireless), Ethernet, PS/2, USB, LocalCAN*, or MiniMettler. Contact our sales representative for more information. Optional LabX light balance software (11277-144) provides consistent control of tasks, instruments, and data output. Ordering Information: Units are supplied with a protective cover for the terminal, AC/DC adapter, and power supply cable. They also include manufacturer's three-year warranty. Extended on-site warranty (11277-094) covers all costs associated with repair during the second and third years. The density determination kit (11276-928) includes a support plate, bracket, pan, 60mm diameter beaker, 80mm diameter beaker, sample holder for non-floating solids, sample holder for floating solids, thermometer, and bottle of wetting agent. The weighing kit (11276-932) contains three ErgoClips, one each for round-bottom flasks, test tubes, and weighing boats. It also comes with a set of weighing boats, 10 disposable aluminum pans, and 1 stainless steel pan. For initial qualification packages, see the 11277-104 series. For a Bluetooth wireless printer, see the 11277-670 series. Optional Platinum and Gold Calibration service packages are offered to assure continual reliability and maintain optimum balance performance. The Platinum service package is suitable for regulated balance uses requiring significant documentation to support installation and qualification, including a NIST traceable calibration certificate. The Gold service package is suitable for many regulated and unregulated balance uses requiring documentation to support installation, including a NIST traceable certificate.
