Meade NGC 60 Telescope 's tripod mount is designed to move only in straight lines (Altazimuth), while objects in the sky move in semicircles. Thus, you can use lower-powered telescope eyepieces and easily track the Moon. The unique feature of Meade NGC-60 Refractor Telescope 70027 is its built-in, computer offering a 1400-object database. Embedded in the mount is a LCD window that reads out all the information, and its array of buttons will control your search. A simple 2-minute alignment procedure gets you up and running, seeing objects you've only read about. Meade Tele Star NGC60 TC Refractor Telescope allows you to observe all of major planets through its 60mm / 2.4" telescope lens. Because of its refracting design, Meade Telestar NGC-60TC Telescope can also be used as an excellent land-view spotting scope for the bird watcher, the naturalist, or a high-rise apartment with a nice view. The MANUAL GoTo Computer for this Meade telescope requires one (user-supplied) 9v battery. Telestar NGC-60TC 70207 Meade Telescope is an upgrade to the previous super popular Meade 20201 NGC-60 - 70207 model comes with an upgraded dark blue telescope body, new Meade red dot finder scope, and 1.25" eyepiece support (so any future eyepieces upgrades are never a problem).
