This telescope accessory is a somewhat essential partimage of the Meade LX80 Multi-Mount Telescope Mount. The counterweight maintains the mount's balance and allows you to attach heavy telescopes to the mount. The Meade LX80 MultiMount Replacement Counterweight weighs roughly eleven pounds and is constructed out of machined steel. This Meade telescope accessory locks on to the mount using a large knob that requires no tools to adjust.
