Meade LT 6 inch SC (f/10) Schmidt-Cassegrain w/UHTC Aperture 0610-04-12 is a fully featured computer telescope with Schmidt-Cassegrain optics and an impressive level of performance forimage serious amateur astronomers. The LT-6 is a computer telescope combining legendary Meade optics, heavy duty gear drives, a rigid die-cast aluminum mount and robust steel tripod construction. Meade Instruments offers the finest 6" SCT optics produced through an advanced proprietary process for professional grade quality. Meade LT 6 SCT includes the AudioStar computer controller, which can guide the telescope to any of the 30,000 objects in the library and play audio clips that feature plenty of detailed information about the objects you are observing. The Audio Star has a built in "Tonight's Best" tour which will automatically show the most visible objects in the sky, taking into account position and time. The telescope 's computer can be updated from the Meade web site.
