With the greater sensitivity of the monochrome chip, go deeper with the Meade Deep Sky Imager PRO 2 Monochrome CCD Camera, and achieve greater detail with Meade CCD Color Filter Set.

Deep Sky Imager Pro II CCD Astro Imager Kit 04527 comes with Meade CCD Color Filters. Bring vibrant color to images taken with your B&W Meade Deep Sky Imager PRO II by using Meade CCD Color Filter Set 04530 , included with Meade DSI II Pro Kit 04527. This high quality Dichroic CCD Meade Color Filter Set comes with Red, Green, and Blue interference filter's plus an IR blocking filter. Meade CCD Filters offer the ultimate in specific wavelength transmission for true color images with minimum exposure times.

Meade Deep Sky Imager Pro II DPI Pro II combines ease-of-use with a larger chip, greater sensitivity, higher resolution, and dramatically lower thermal noise. Meade engineers have invented a remarkable new way to reduce noise without a cooler. This means that with Meade Deep Sky II Pro CCD Camera you can take exposures for hours at a time. Meade DSI-II Pro CCD Astro Imager also features the new thermal monitoring sensors, that automatically match your dark frames to ambient temperature so it's nearly impossible to take an uncalibrated picture. Meade DSI-Pro II Deep Sky Imager Pro II CCD Camera offers:

High Sensitivity (1/2") CCD Sensor from Sony: Meade Deep Sky Imager II Pro utilizes Sony's large 1/2" ExView HAD CCD Image Sensor. This sensor provides dramatically lower noise and higher dynamic range featuring a 16-Bit A/D converter.

USB 2.0 High Speed: Download images with fast USB connection.

Multiple Imager Operation: AutoStar Envisage will support any number of Meade Deep Sky Imager Cameras and one Meade LPI Lunar Planetary Imager.

Temperature Sensor: Meade DSI II Pro CCD Astroimager has a built in temperature sensor for fast and accurate auto-dark frame subtraction. The temperature sensor matches the current temperature of the CCD chip to each dark frame so it's nearly impossible to take an uncalibrated picture.

Less Noise Means More Data: You get all the data from your Meade Deep Sky Imager Pro II without compression, and that means no loss of information in your raw images.

Drizzle Technology: Drizzle was developed by NASA for processing images from Hubble Space Telescope. It will work on any Meade AutoStar Controlled Telescope. There are 3 enhancements that Drizzle adds:

Increased resolution - increase resolution without interpolation
Extended View - a final image that is nearly 4 times larger
Field De-Rotation - eliminate field rotation with simple 2-star selection
