This Meade Telescope Accessory Kit extends the viewing power and contrast of any telescope. Meade Telescope Accessory Eyepiece and Barlow Lens Kit 07978 LF is recommended for all telescopes configured with 1.25" telescope eyepieces.

2 PC Meade Telescope Accessory Kit Eyepiece and Barlow Lens 07978 LF:
  • Meade 17.5 mm MA Modified Achromatic 1.25" Telescope Eyepiece: Increase the power of your telescope to create exceptionally clear images with high contrast and light transmission. To determine how much power this Meade Telescope Eyepiece will add to your telescope, simply divide the focal length by the mm length of the eye piece. For instance, a telescope with a 400mm focal length used with this Meade 17.5 mm eyepiece will produce approximately twenty-three power (23x) of magnification. This moderate-power 3-elements Meade Eyepiece is great for viewing solar system objects like the Moon, planets, and even deep-sky objects.
  • Meade #126 Barlow Lens: works with any 1.25 inch telescope eyepiece and will double the power of your eyepiece. Use 2x Barlow lens with the included 17.5mm Telescope Eyepiece to double its power - in example with 400mm telescope - from 23x to 46x.
