Meade 102mm ED TRIPLET APO (f/7) 0407-00-03 is a high quality refractor with a impressive wide field of view ( FOV ). If you areimage looking for high performance deep sky astrophotography and visual observation of the moon, planets, double stars and clusters, the Meade Series 5000 ED APO 102mm is an excellent choice. For crisp wide field of observing and imaging, nothing can beat a true triple-element Apochromatic Refractor ( APO ). Astronomers will appreciate the visual performance in this portable package, with super precise dual speed 2" Crayford focuser with 10:1 gear reduction for ultra fine focus control included in this Meade telescope. Meade is famous for providing high precision optics in all of their telescopes, from beginner models to advanced.

The Meade 102MM ED APO OTA features a focal length of 700mm, and a fully multi-coated triplet objective lens made from the highest quality ED (extra-low dispersion) glass for outstanding contrast and sharpness.
