Product Category Description:

Putty-like sealing compound used to fill gaps and seal joints on the rotary pump side of a vacuum system; forms seals around flat, unground joints. Constructs temporary vacuum enclosures (such as sealing glass cylinders to metal plates). Used for vacuum work where low vapor pressures are not required. Readily molded. Easily applied and removed.

The sealing compound softens between 40–50°C (104–122°F). Maximum temperature for use is 30°C (86°F). Vapor pressure is 1x10-4 Torr at 20°C (68°F).
