Leupold RX-1000 TBR Rangefinder integrates pristine image quality with an innovative and unique True Ballistic Range (TBR) that generates the fastest and most reliable readings ever. Leupold has gone further to provide unsurpassed quality and function with a newly redesigned Quick Set Menu that uses on-screen prompts for exceptionally intuitive and easy use in the field. The RX-1000 TBR retain the same True Ballistic Range technology that revolutionized rangefinders, automatically calculating the shot angle and providing the ballistics range rather than the straight line distance to your target. The Leupold Rx1000 TBR Waterproof Rangefinder is optimized for most popular bow and rifle trajectories, and the rifle settings even work in conjunction with Leupold's Ballistic Aiming System rifle scope reticles to help you place shots with astonishing accuracy.

TBR algorithms were developed for Leupold by the same engineers who developed navigation and guidance systems for ICBMs and other missiles with far more demanding trajectory requirements than a hunting bullet. TBR is a marriage of a Leupold r ange finder, an inclinometer, and an advanced computerized ballistics program. The result is distance measurements accurate within a yard, no matter the angle at which the laser is fired. Bullets and arrows travel in a ballistic arc, yet conventional rangefinders only provide a linear distance to your target. TBR delivers the ballistic equivalent range to the target, accounting for the effects of inclines or declines on the path of your bullet or arrow. TBR eliminates any potentially significant error, and provides a precise range for your aiming calculations. TBR is matched to each of seven firearm ballistics groups and three archery ballistics groups, allowing use with most popular firearms and bows.
