Leica Monovid 8 x 20 mm Monocular with 8-fold magnification is a true high-end monocular by Leica that is designed so you need never beimage without it. Its elegant design is as impressive as its superior technology making it ideal for birdwatchers and hikers who need to travel light, for concert-goers and sports fans alike. A close-up lens that allows the detailed observation of objects at distances as close as 25-30 cm which is perfect for viewing butterflies and insects.

Simply screwing this accessory onto the front lens lets users experience a macro effect that reveals even the finest details. Leica monocular is also particularly practical: when not in use, the lens can be safely stored in the leather case provided - the best place to keep it safe and sound. Another ingenious feature of the elegant case is its silent magnetic fastener, which ensures that nothing is surprised or scared away. But the Monovid spotting scope by Leica offers much, much more. Its aluminum body is nitrogen-filled to prevent misting, and its lenses are coated with water and dirt repellent AquaDura coating. Furthermore, in contrast to all other monoculars, it is not only splash-proof but fully waterproof to a depth of 5m (16.5 ft).

So come rain or shine Leica Monovid owners can be certain they will have the perfect view. Its extremely compact size, versatility, and weight of only 112 g (under 6 oz) makes it an ideal companion that fits in any jacket pocket and can be right at your fingertips whenever you need it. The Monovid 8 x 20mm Monocular by Leica is supplied complete with an elegant leather case with a silent magnetic fastener. The case also has a compartment specifically to keep the close-up lens in - so it is safe when not in use.
