The BioPette E Electronic Pipette is fully motorized to eliminate the hand strain associated with repetitive operation. A high precision stepping motor controls piston action resulting in exceptional acuracy and precision and much lower pipetting forces. Accuracy and PrecisionAccuracy is further enhanced by a state-of-the-art microprocessor which controls the action of the stepping motor. An optical coupler monitors the plunger position to ensure that movement exactly the same every time. The BioPette E is self-calibrating.As soon as you pick up the BioPette E, you will notice how naturally it fits in your hand. The unit is unexpecetedly lightweight and well balanced. The plunger button is easily accessed by the index finger, while the other fingers tuck in comfortably under the finger rest. A small, natural movement of the index finger is all that is required to activate the plunger, virtually eliminating hand stress. The tip ejector slides easily with minimal effort from the thumb. Angled toward the user, the large LCD is clear and easy to read, with all active functions and battery status displayed. Ergonomic Handle, easy to see display Six operational modes expand the capabilities of the BioPette E beyond just a mere pipette. The large screen and simple interface allow users to easily select the appropriate operating parameters. The program memory holds up to nine different sets of operating parameters for future recall. In order to ensure proper operation of the BioPette E, the software includes a self-diagnosis program that constantly monitors the accuracy of pipetting volume, battery status and the auto-calibration function. The BioPette E is available in single and multichannel versions. Both have adjustable tip ejectors and shafts designed to accept a variety of manufacturers' tips. The lower portion of all the BioPette E models is easily removed for autoclaving. LCD display and operation keys Each BioPette E is supplied with one rechargeable Lithium Ion battery, a convenient shelf clip and a charging adapter for charging the battery in the unit. The battery holds its charge through 2,000 pipetting cycles. To be sure you always have a fresh battery, extra batteries and an external charger are available. A complete charge takes just 5 hours in the charger or 3 hours in the unit.An acrylic stand is available for holding three pipettes, single or multichannel, in an upright position.
