Product Category Description:

Provide a leak-tight environment for work with contamination-sensitive materials. Ideal for reactive chemicals requiring inert environments of argon or nitrogen gases that are free of oxygen and moisture contamination. Single glove box is available with a one-piece molded fiberglass or stainless steel liner. The double glove box is only available with a stainless steel liner.

A four-valve system permits pressurizing or purging for controlled atmosphere and dry box applications. Manually-controlled valves regulate glove box gas input/exhaust as well as transfer chamber gas input/exhaust. Control panel includes pressure gauges for both glove box and transfer chamber. Rear electrical receptacle for optional vacuum pump allows automatic control. Pressure relief bubbler minimizes over/under pressurization.

Large observation window made of 0.95cm (3/8") laminated safety glass measures 91.4Wx70.1Hcm (36x275/8"), angled to 10° to minimize reflections. Window is mounted in a frame of epoxy-coated, 12-gauge steel, and sealed with a one-piece, molded, dual-seal neoprene gasket. The 30W fluorescent lamp provides glare-free interior lighting. Glove ports are 20.3cm (8") I.D., spaced 43.1cm (17") apart from center to center. Double grooved ring allows glove change without disturbing chamber integrity.

Transfer chamber (mounted on the right side) features large inner and outer doors permitting convenient loading of the work chamber without destroying atmospheric conditions. Counter-weighted inner and outer doors pivot upward to conserve space. Transfer chamber interior dimensions: 27.9Wx50.8Dx33Hcm (11x20x13").

For 115V or 230V operation.

Single Glove Box has interior dimensions of 90.2Wx71.1Dx81.3Hcm (351/2x28x32"). Overall dimensions are 158.4Wx95.5Dx97.7Hcm (623/8x375/8x381/2").

Double Glove Box provides workers with a 207.6cm (813/4") long interior work space. Consists of two 92cm (361/4") wide interior sections linked by a 24.7cm (93/4") wide raised bridge. Bridge is equipped with two outlets for accessories. Overall dimensions are 276Wx95.5Dx97.7Hcm (1085/8x375/8x381/2").
