Contains three shelves for batch samples or bulk processing. Samples may be frozen directly on the shelves. Equipped with a pneumatic diaphragm inflation mechanism that raises the shelves, allowing stoppering on all three levels.

Fluid medium circulates through channels in the shelves to cool and heat. Unit incorporates a 3/4hp CFC-free refrigeration system and a 1000W heater. Microprocessor-based controller permits temperature ramp and hold programming for up to five programs with five segments each, and it has memory to allow repetition of identical protocols. When in monitor mode, LCD screen on front panel continuously displays system and probe temperatures in °C or °F, vacuum in mBar, Pa, or Torr. In auto mode, the segment of the program in progress is displayed.

A 7.6cm (3") diameter outlet on the bottom of the tray dryer cabinet allows connection to a FreeZone 6L, 12L, or 18L freeze dry system. Red LED alarm provides audible and visual warnings in the event of an abnormal system occurrence. All models feature a 1.9cm (3/4") thick acrylic door and a brushed stainless steel and glacier white epoxy-coated steel exterior with blue accents.

The 115V model is ETL and ETL-C listed. The 208/230V model is CE marked.
