Disposable, precision-molded, conical-bottom tubes are made of ultra-clear resin. Polypropylene tubes are autoclavable to 122°C (251°F) and freezable to –90°C (–130°F). Polystyrene tubes are non-autoclavable with a nominal temperature range of –40 to 90°C (–40 to 194°F). Tubes feature attached, dual-position polyethylene caps, which are not autoclavable. Tubes and caps are provided sterile and endotoxin-free.
