After which, Fredrich Kahles sold the business to his long time and personal friend Daniel Swarovski. From 1974 to 1988 Kahles scopes became a subsidiary of Swarovski. In 1989, the Kahles brand was registered as an independent company within the Swarovski Optik Group. Kahles now manufactures Kahles scopes, Kahles rifle scopes and Kahles binoculars for avid hunters, campers and bird watchers alike.
