With its new and improved optics and user controls, the D-121M Gen 2 Night Vision Monocularoffers numerous built in features, which include automatic brightness control (ABC), bright source protection (BSP) and a low battery indicator. In addition, this unit incorporates a high power infrared illuminator that can be turned on or off independently. The D-121M Night Vision Monocularutilizes fiber optics to display its low battery warning and IR operational mode within the users field of view. By attaching the NG D-121M Night Vision Monocularto its optional exclusive head mount assembly, it becomes a hands free mono-goggle that allows for easy eye interchangeability and a flip up mechanism for unaided viewing.

The D-121M Gen 2 Monocularcan be used in conjunction with a camera or camcorder as a low light image enhancer. The D-121M?s viewing capabilities can be extended with the use of long-range mil-spec 3X or 5X magnification lenses.
