Insight Technology Laser Aiming Module ILWLP/LAM-1000 is an advanced single-module, multi-function Insight illuminator flashlight and Insight aiming device derived from the military standard Insight AN/PEQ-6 Infrared / Visible Illuminator Flashlight / Aiming Laser Sight. Attaching and detaching in only 2 seconds, Insight Technologies LAM Flashlight & Laser Aiming Module is the ultimate system for providing a unique combination of a visible laser, infrared laser, infrared illuminator, and white light illuminator. There are two available versions of Laser Aiming Module LAM1000 by Insight Technology: visible whiter light dot, and infra-red light which can only be seen while wearing night vision goggles. Models -100, -200, -300, -400 IR laser available ONLY to law enforcement. Remote capable on all models except -400/-450.

Originally designed in response to the U.S. Navy S.E.A.L.'s Assault Pistol program, Insight Laser Aiming Module, (L.A.M.) pioneered ground and set the standard for multi-laser/white light capability in a compact pistol mounted package. Today, Insight Technology's LAM-1000 I/R & White Flashlight / Lasersight Combo is known to the U.S. Military as the Insight ILWLP.
