Everybody needs to own a sword. So when I went looking I knew right away I wanted a sword that could actually be used for chopping, cutting, clearing brush you name it. I didn't want one of the fancy, display-type swords... I wanted a real, hard-core piece of high performance carbon steel that would hold an edge and be able to be sharpened time and again. This is what I found... the Katana is 30 inches in length with a 20 inch blade and is one solid piece of steel. The Wakizashi is 23 inches in length with a 15 inch blade, and it too is one solid piece of steel. Both feature nylon para-cord wrapped handles that are made for real work.
