Tanks provide excellent results for multiple fluids at elevated temperatures. Tanks feature glass-reinforced plastic outer casing that is resistant to common laboratory acids and solvents. Tanks are designed to allow dual-position fitting of the circulator control unit for convenient access. The 5L, 12L, and 18L models feature an operating range of 0 to 200°C while the 26L and 38L models have an operating range of –15 to 200°C.

The stainless steel lids corresponding to the tanks are required for operating a circulating water bath at elevated temperatures (60°C to 100°C) and when operating above 100°C. Hinged lids can be opened to a stable, vertical position or lifted off completely.

The raised shelves for the stainless steel tanks reduce the effective liquid depth between 0 and 31/2" in 12L or 18L tanks, and between 0 and 2" or 31/4 and 51/4" in 26L and 38L tanks. Shelves allow shallow vessels to be placed in the tank.

The IC-200 and IC-400 refrigerated immersion coolers (66238-594 and 47728-756) for the S Series Tanks consist of a nickel-plated cooper cooling coil connected by a flexible pipe to refrigeration unit housed in an outer case. The cooler extracts heat continuously with temperature controlled by the bath’s control unit. The CW5 heat exchange coil (66238-596) is designed to be attached to a supply of cooling tap water or a refrigerated circulator, 2°C above coolant temperature.

Ordering Information: All tanks are supplied with a bridge plate for mounting the circulator. Lids, raised shelf, and the IC-400 refrigerated immersion cooler are sold separately.
