In late 1997, and under this trade name, the business department "Foto- und Lichtme technik" ( photo and light-metering) had been outsourced by GOSSEN -Metrawatt GmbH and has begun to establish itself as an autonomous unit. Since Gossen 's relatively short establishment it is clear that the company is steering a successful course: The application of the now almost 65 years of experience of the parent company as manufacturer of precision, regulating and electrical engineering in the industrial sector, in particular in the lux and luminance meter technology as well as the application of innovative technology in development department and production has proved to be worthwhile.
