That's why Giottos has included the Giottos Monopod Security Strap on all of their professional monopods. These monopod accessories attach to the top of the monopod, right underneath the camera mount, and give you an extra layer of security when you're carrying around the monopod. Using the Giottos monopod accessory, you can even hang the monopod from a wall or strap it to a backpack for easy transportation and storage. These replacement security straps are available for many models in the VGR series of Giottos monopods, including the VGR8265, VGR9254, and VGR9265.
