Product Category Description:

Products have a base of hydrophilic urethane foam and work together to complete the cleaning of recessed surfaces and microporous sub-surfaces. These products safely and quickly remove build-up on process equipment and eliminate contamination. Choose from Silicon Carbide, Aluminum Oxide, or Diamond ScrubPADS for initial scouring. Complete the cleaning process with hydrophilic urethane foam sponges, wipers, or swabs. Or choose a chamber cleaning kit that combines samples of the ScrubPADS and foam wiping products.

The ScrubPADS, ideal for agressive cleaning, can be matched to the specific type of cleaning needed. They are produced using fully laundered grits that are permanently bonded and encapsulated to stable, clean fabric backing. The fabric backing is then cleanly and permanently laminated to the UltraSOLV high-absorbency foam wiping material.

Silicon Carbide ScrubPADS for Hard Surface Cleaning

These pads offer long-life abrasion for quick removal of metal and hard polymer build-up on aluminum, stainless steel, and ceramic surfaces such as those found in Implant, CVD, Epitaxy, and Floatzone Reactors and Polishers. The result can be a satin-polished surface when some minor abrasion of the surface is permissible.

Aluminum Oxide ScrubPADS for Delicate Surface Cleaning

For removal of hardened build-up from easily scratched tool surfaces such as anodized aluminum, quartz, polymer, and even LEXAN*. The soft grit of aluminum oxide ScrubPADS gently scours and polishes, leaving these surfaces clean of build-up and without scratches.

Diamond ScrubPADS for Very Hard, Glass-like Build-up

Diamond ScrubPADS are the most aggressive pad for removing extremely hard, glass-like build-up, such as that from titanium nitride. Specailty use Diamond pads are cost-effective because cleaning times are cut in half.

Foam Wiping Products

Sponges, wipers, and swabs are the specialized hydrophilic urethane foam wiping products that complete the cleaning of surfaces, recessed surfaces, and microporous sub-surfaces, leaving them clean and dry. These foam products absorb contamination and moisture without fiber contribution, corrosives, organics, or residues. They enable most cleaning to be done using deionized water, reducing the amount of chemistry and wiping materials required.

Chamber Cleaning Kits

Wilshire chamber cleaning products are offered in two convenient kits: a Starter Kit and a Customer Evaluation Kit. These kits enable the user to experience the benefits of Wilshire cleanroom methods and products for a very small investment.
