Created by Italy based manufacturer DeRigo Inc, Police was first launched in Europe in 1983. Since then, it has burst into prominence worldwide - including its initial run with ESE from 1989-1996. Further illustrating its worldwide reputation is the use of celebrities and sports figures-currently U.K. soccer star David Beckham in Japan and actor George Clooney in Europe-to promote the collection in global markets.

The relaunch of Police features an array of both Sunwear and Ophthalmic styles. The sunglasses include a mix of both full frame and rimless styles. Included are polarizedlenses, cylindrical lenses, and 8 base wraps, and gradient tints. Colors are offered in a variety brown, green, black and grey shades, among others.
