epTIPS (Eppendorf Totally Integrated Pipetting System) pipet tips satisfy the most stringent requirements of dependability and reproducibility and perfectly match every Eppendorf pipettor. Tips are also universally applicable, for use with pipettors from all other manufacturers. Flexible crown design results in an improved seal with the pipettor and reduced attachment and ejection forces. Tips feature fine volume graduations and a soft, flexible tip cone.

Tips are available in four purity levels: Quality tips are precisely molded and feature defined flow dynamics, minimal water retention, high chemical resistance, and high thermal stability. Sterile tips are available in racks and individually wrapped to ensure sterility. PCR† Clean tips feature the same attributes as the Quality tips, and are DNA-free, DNase-free, RNase-free, and free of PCR inhibitors. Biopur* tips feature the same attributes as the Quality tips, and are ATP-free, pyrogen-free, DNA-free, RNase-free, and sterile.

Filter tips are PCR Clean, sterile, have an integrated hydrophobic polyethylene filter, and do not contain “self-sealing” additives. Sample can be easily recovered, even if filter becomes wet as a result of incorrect pipetting. Tips of volume range 0.1–10µL are available in three different lengths, short (34mm), medium (40mm), and long (46mm). Batch-specific purity certificates for each type are available upon request.

Tips are available in the following packaging options: Box — Autoclavable and reusable. Optimized for use with multichannel pipettors. Convenient color-coded trays help the user identify tip size and quickly match tip with appropriate Eppendorf pipettor. Reloads — Autoclavable reload trays are packaged as either dual-sided or stacked racks, depending on tip volume. Tips can be attached to pipettor directly from the refill tray or tray can be audible and securely snapped into a box. Can be autoclaved. Sets — Consist of the epTIPS box and five reload trays. Racks — Ready-to-use pipet tip racks. Bulk — Packaged in resealable bags. Singles — Individually wrapped pipet tips with batch number and expiration date printed on each package. Continuous quality control of each batch by an independent laboratory.
