These reliable, economical thermal cyclers are designed for research and teaching applications. Their high speed permits a typical 30-cycle program to be completed in about one hour, allowing multiple experiments in one day. Using advanced Peltier technology, the cyclers are capable of heating/cooling rates of more than 2 to 3°C/sec. on average. The heated lid has a selectable temperature range from 100 to 115°C and can be enabled or disabled. Programming is fast and intuitive with use of the alphanumeric screen, keypad, and large memory. Cyclers also feature quick dial and password protection, fast ramping, unparalleled block uniformity, incremental/decremental segment hold time and temperature, ready-to-go templates, user-interchangeable block formats, and PC control and networking. Their small footprint also saves space.
