The result of this development is an impressive combination of peak optical performance and precision mechanics. The lightweight, sturdy and pressure watertight aluminum-magnesium body, along with the well-proportioned and non-skid plastic armor guarantees long life and mechanical protection to the multi-coated high-grade optics in these DOCTER binoculars. The big 5-lens eyeglass wearer eyepiece with the phase corrected and sophistically designed roof prism inverting system and the 4-lens achromatic objective assure superb contrast, maximum optical resolution and unique brilliancy.

Watertight and sturdy
DOCTER binoculars are protected all-around by high-grade NBR. The handy neck strap, included in the supply, provides high comfort. The eyepiece cap protects the eyepiece lenses efficiently against water, dust or dirt. All binoculars are pressure watertight and nitrogen purged. This technology guarantees totally fog-proof view at all internal optical surfaces.
Best close focus setting and innovative eyeglass wearer eyepiece
The DOCTER central twin focusing device (two centrally arranged knurled nuts, non-interacting) permit the setting of the distance and of the diopters (with vernier indexing) to be done quickly and easily. While doing so, the binocular is held in the hand safely and steadily. The impressive close focus of 3m allows exciting plant and wildlife observation. The exit pupil eye relief was extended to 16 mm. Along with the big multi-coated eyepiece and the innovative "twist-up" eyecups limited to 70° angle of rotation provide in any situation the full big scope of view even for eyeglass wearers.
Computer optimized multi-coating.
A computer optimized multi-coating on all optical surfaces assures an excellent characteristic curve over the complete visible spectrum. Totally natural color reproduction and brilliancy culminate in unspoilt viewing pleasure.
