Mounting Location: DVR mounts to front right side of securely fastened metal equipment console using a Pana Vise pedestal mount. The telex system mounts to the side of the equipment console, approximately 6-8 inches to the rear of the Shadow mount using a clam shell mount. Other locations may be chosen for the Telex system includes: front or rear of console and on a solid prisoner partition between the front seats. With this kit, an FM transmitter is included for review of video files. The transmitter is affixed to the side of the metal console, typically between the Shadow mount and Telex system (if Telex was mounted in the 'first choice' location), with Velcro.

Console Specifications: It is necessary to specify the type of equipment console due to the forces that can be applied by the normal usage of the Shadow. Commercial products include Havis Shield, Jotto Desk and Gamber Johnson equipment consoles (and others of this type). There are other metal consoles that are considered 'Tunnel' consoles that are typically screwed, securely, to the transmission hump by 4 sheet metal screws. These 'Tunnel' consoles still offer a flat surface to mount the Shadow and FM transmitter, the Telex system would need to be mounted in another location. Consoles that have vertical, adjustable 'rails' for equipment and may utilize a plastic trim cover must be avoided with this kit as it lacks the structural integrity to give a long term solid mounting platform for the Shadow.

Mounting Location: DVR mounts to 14 inch uniflex (gooseneck) mount. This mount can be located in various locations that provide easy access to the unit and adjusted as such so that the operator can have clear view of the screen. The Telex system can be mounted to the prisoner partition with the clam shell mount. This kit also includes an FM transmitter for in vehicle review of video files..

Mounting Location: DVR mounts to the prisoner partition with a clam shell mount. The Telex system can be located on the side of the equipment console or other location using a clam shell mount. Also included with this kit, an LCD monitor with integrated speaker, is mounted to the front passenger side of the equipment console. This LCD monitor is used for the review of video files in the vehicle. The LCD monitor can be attached via 12" Panavise mount or attached to the headliner.

Console Specifications: Any equipment console with sufficient area of flat surface on the side of the console will be sufficient. Console needs to be securely mounted to the vehicle.

The Telex system can be located on the side of the equipment console or other location using a clam shell mount. This kit should also include an FM transmitter (with 6' RCA extension cable) for in vehicle review of video files.

Mounting Location: DVR mounts to the prisoner partition with a clam shell mount.The Telex system can be located on the side of the equipment console or other location using a clam shell mount. Also included with this kit, a USB laptop connectivity kit that, when properly configured, allows the user to review and monitor videos from the in vehicle laptop. This USB kit does not control the Shadow, only monitor and review of video files. Minimum known computer requirements are described in the USB kit.
