Made of 99.8%-pure aluminum oxide, these crucibles are highly resistant to alkalies and other fluxes. Crucibles are highly refractory and are inert in hydrogen and carbonaceous atmospheres. Ideal for high-temperature work that demands contamination-free results. Suitable for glass melting, including borosilicate glass. Limit of use: 1750°C.
