The day/night conversion on this Night Vision Riflescope is quick and can be performed in any situation in the field. Simply twist the daytime eyepiece off theCenturion Systems Expert Day Night Rifle Scope and then insert the night eyepiece, twisting left until it locks. The conversion can be completed within 5 seconds. Each eyepiece is then small enough to fit in any field vest or pack, leaving little maintenance.

The Centurion Systems Expert Day Night Rifle Scope has a built in adjustment that compensates for bullet drop. The elevation dial is calibrated for bullet drop in increments from 100 yards to 1000 yards. To perform shooting at different distances, the alignment process is simplified to the quick turn of a compensator knob. The system can be used with guaranteed zero retention on heavy caliber weapons (including .50 BMG class). The unit meets the specific requirements set for military and law enforcement.

Lesser day/night riflescopes on the current market utilize standard daytime optical systems, which can be recognized in their near exact body styles as daytime rifle scopes.
