This extra light grasp, combined with its superb color correction, can help you make positive species identifications in poor lighting conditions, such as twilight or under heavily overcast skies. Celestron Ultima 80 mm ED #52251 gives you more optical performance than you'd expect at the price. Compared to other premium 80mm-ED and fluorite scopes, it's quite a bargain.
