The Celestron Digital Microscope Imager allows you to view and/or capture snapshot images or video with your microscope and your computer. The Imager replaces the eyepiece of your
microscope so images can be viewed on your computer screen. Perfect for comfortable viewing by yourself or with small groups and will work with all Celestron Microscopes and other brand microscopes. This digital imager captures pictures in 2 Megapixel resolution. The Digital Microscope Imager by Celestron is powered through the USB 2.0 cable when connected to a PC or laptop. This digital microscope imager is an inexpensive way to turn your existing microscope into a digital microscope. Included with the Celestron Digital Microscope Imager is a CD-ROM that includes installation drivers and imaging software. These features of the Celestron Digital Microscope Imager - 44421 makes it a great microscope accessory for users interested in taking digital images through microscopes.
NOTE: Although software that comes with this microscope is Windows only, the device itself is compatible with MAC OS 10.4.9 and later (newer) versions. To use on the MAC you will need 3rd party photo capture software.
