The Maksutov optical design of Celestron C130 Mak Maksutov Cassegrain Advanced Series Telescope - 31063 is recognized for being 
a portable design that is easy to use and has a variety of applications, making it an excellent choice for both terrestrial and astronomical usage.
Celestron C 130 Mak Telescope has excellent optics with razor sharp images over a wide field. Celestron 5" Maksutov-Cassegrain Telescope C-130 Mak 31063 features an internal flip mirror design which allows the user to view celestial objects at a 90 degree angle and also corrects the image orientation to view land objects at a 45 degree angle.

Celestron new CG 5 German Equatorial Mount has precision worm gears on both axes for extremely smooth stability. Celestron CG5 German Equatorial Mount also has a convenient latitude scale for easier alignment and an optional polar finder scope for the ultimate in precision alignments.
