Celestron Laboratory Biological Microscope Compound 40x/100x/400x - 44102 Product Info

Celestron Laboratory Biological Microscope Compound 40x/100x/400x - 44102 is an entry level microscope with high quality features such as a Condenser, Triple Objective Nosepiece, andimage a Disk Diaphragm. The Condenser is a lens system below the stage of the microscope that concentrates light onto the slide for an easy and detailed observation of a specimen. The Triple Objective Nosepiece has objective lenses of 4x, 10x, and 40x. When combined with the 10x eyepiece the microscope provides powers of 40x, 100x, and 400x allowing for serious usage. The Disk Diaphragm has five aperture rings which adjust the amount of light passing onto a slide, useful for obtaining a sharp and detailed image. The arm on the Celestron Biological Microscope is adjustable from 0° to 60° so the microscope can be positioned for a comfortable view. The light source on this Research Microscope is a 50mm (2") mirror that makes illumination of a specimen more detailed, and easier to see. Also, the Microscope has coarse and fine focusing knobs to make focusing easier at the 400x power.
