Celestron AstroMaster 90 AZ Refractor Telescope Altazimuth 21063 is a dual-purpose telescope that is great for both terrestrial and celestial viewing. The Astro Master 90 AZ Telescope by Celestron produces bright and clear images of the Moon and planets through the telescope 's Fully Coated Lens. The Refractor Telescope has a 90mm Lens, giving the user a larger lens than the AstroMaster 70mm AZ Telescope. This larger lens will allow more light through when viewing distant objects, such as the moons of Jupiter and the rings of Saturn. Also, these Celestron Telescopes come with two eyepieces of 50X and 100X magnification, which can pull in objects both near and far away. Celestron AstroMaster 90 AZ Telescopes have an Altazimuth Mount that allow the user to easily move the telescope up and down or left and right. This alt-az mount also makes the telescope easier to move when viewing terrestrial objects. In addition, these Celestron AstroMaster Telescopes are very child friendly with its Refractor design, making them easy to maintain and capable to withstand continuous use. These Telescopes come with a Tripod with 1.25" thick steel legs, providing a rigid and stable platform.
