Everything that is done using the telescope's hand control can now be done remotely from a PC or laptop. Celestron Nex Remote Software was developed for high-end Celestron Telescopes that use Celestron NexStar Control System including Celestron NexStar "i" Telescopes, Celestron Advanced Series Telescopes, Celestron NexStar GPS Telescopes and Celestron CGE Telescopes .

Celestron NexRemote Software began shipping in March 2005 with select high-end computerized Celestron Telescopes including Celestron NexStar i Series Telescopes, NexStar GPS Telescopes and Celestron CGE Telescopes. For those who already own a compatible Celestron Computerized Telescope and want to take it to the next level of convenience and enjoyment, Celestron NexRemote Telescope Control Software can be purchased separately as a Celestron NexRemote Kit (93710) or as a Celestron NexRemote Software CD Only (item 93702).
