Large capacity CO2 incubator provides the ideal environment for small to large scale, high-volume cell culture. Temperature is controlled with a drift-resistant RTD sensor. Humidity is controlled with a capacitive sensor. No humidity pan is needed. Water is injected on an as-needed basis to maintain a precisely controlled environment. Humidity levels can be controlled at any temperature setpoint without recalibration. The CO2 range is controlled through the use of an IR (infrared) sensor. The IR CO2 sensor is not affected by temperature or humidity changes, allowing the chamber to recover CO2 levels without waiting on temperature and humidity.

The carefully designed horizontal airflow system generates evenly distributed airflow across all shelf locations. Maximum uniformity and rapid recovery are maintained even under heavy cabinet loads. The sliding, wire rod stainless steel shelves are easily adjustable to facilitate handling of products, and allow easy access to samples at the rear of the chamber. Stainless steel interior is easily cleaned and highly resistant to corrosion. The ergonomically designed door handle allows easy access into the chamber. Heated, triple-pane glass door minimizes condensation on the door for a clear view of samples, and aids in rapid temperature recovery. Lockable control panel minimizes the possibility of unauthorized access. Two access ports, one on each side of the chamber, make validation easy and allow for easy access to connect instrumentation.

The CO2 gas guard allows two CO2 tanks to be connected to the incubator and automatically switches from the primary to the secondary tank when low gas pressure is detected. The factory-installed, seven-day temperature recorder is equipped with a single pen and includes a 2.4cm (6") circular chart. The factory-installed, seven-day temperature/humidity recorder is equipped with a dual pen and includes a 2.4cm (6") circular chart. The alarm contacts provide NO and NC dry contacts for temperature, humidity, and CO2 alarms. Analog outputs, 0–5V or 4–20mA, provide connections for monitoring displayed temperature, RH, and CO2 values. The two-stage CO2 tank regulator has an input range of 0–2000psi and an output range of 0–30psi. Regulator features dual pressure gauges with barbed hose connection and is equipped with a rotary shutoff valve. The universal condensate recirculating system conditions readily available tap water, recycles it, and eliminates the need for a floor drain. The system includes in-line DI cartridge, carbon block filter, antibacterial stick, 26.5L (7gal.) water tank, low water alarm, and recirculation pump. The ergonomically designed LEXAN* inner door kit divides the chamber into five equally sized zones, minimizing chamber interruptions during a door opening. An outer door lock and solid light-tight door cover are also available. The RS485 provides communications interface to temperature, RH, and CO2 controllers (requires third party or custom software to enable communications). The extra perforated stainless steel shelf kit includes one stainless steel perforated shelf and two shelf rails. The seven-day temperature recorder is equipped with a single pen and includes a 3.9cm (10") circular chart. The seven-day temperature/humidity recorder is equipped with a dual pen and includes a 3.9cm (10") circular chart. The Watlow communications software is a Windows*-based system for data logging.

Ordering Information: Supplied with five standard stainless steel shelves. Incubators can be factory pre-programmed with setpoints for temperature, humidity, and CO2. Factory-installed accessories must be ordered along with incubator.
