Chamber is designed to accelerate the DFO, Ninhydrin, and other fingerprint development processes. Fingerprints are detected at a faster rate and with better clarity by precisely controlling conditions of high temperature and high relative humidity. The chamber features rapid condition recovery after the chamber door is opened and closed. The large viewing area offers easy observation of critical samples. The chamber interior is made of seam-welded aluminum coated with high-quality, corrosion-resistant epoxy paint.

The wide temperature and humidity range allows fingerprints to be processed in just a matter of minutes. The microprocessor-based PID controllers maintain excellent stability and provide reliable and repeatable results. The gentle, forced, vertical airflow provides uniform environmental conditions, eliminates condensation, and keeps evidence moisture-free. A steam generator adds heat while humidifying, providing for quick ramp-up and rapid condition recovery after door openings. The digital temperature and humidity display provides clear and accurate settings. The icon-based control panel is easy to understand and requires minimal operating documentation. Dual display of temperature and humidity allows user to visualize instantaneous setpoint and operating conditions. The vertical LED light strip in the door provides a large illumination area to watch fingerprints being developed. The triple-pane, heated glass door minimizes condensation. A low water level warning light notifies the operator when to add water. The digital countdown timer displays remaining time in test procedure. Slide-out shelves allow for quick and easy loading and unloading of samples.

The 4L (1gal.) carboy includes a cap, tubing, and fittings. A universal holder mounts the carboy on the side or on top of the chamber. The condensate recirculating system is for use where a floor drain or in-house supply of distilled or deionized water is unavailable. The filter replacement kit for the recirculating system includes DI cartridge, carbon filter, and silver stick. The tubing and fitting kit connects the recirculating system to two chambers. The ultraviolet germicidal lamp also works with the recirculating system to deactivate microorganisms.The in-line RO water filtration system prevents mineral deposits and scale build-up and connects directly to tap water supply. The shelf kit includes a white perforated shelf, two shelf tracks, and four hanging clips.
