Burris 200129 FullField II Tactical 2-7x35mm Rifle Scope - TAC-2 Knobs, Ballistic Plex Reticle, Matte Black Finish Riflescope Product Info
As with many things in life, once you reach a
high level of quality you can further spend a whole lot more in cash for a small amount more in performance. The Burris 2X-7X-35mm Fullfield II Tactical Riflescopes represent outstanding performance at a great value.
Starting with a proven high performance optical system that features high grade lenses and the Burris - exclusive index-matched HiLume lens multicoatings on ALL lens surfaces, these Burris scopes deliver very bright and clear optical performance and proven tough duty mechanical performance.
Burris Fullfield II 2-7x35mm Tactical Riflescope features a Type III Mil-Spec Olive Drab or Matte Black hard anodize and a special non-reflective low sheen finish. Those who actually have to hump it in the hills with their tactical rifles will also appreciate a new ?lighter? way of looking at tactical optics. Burris Fullfield-2 2-7x35 Tacticals weigh in at some 25% to 50% less than other riflescopes in this performance range.
Rather than the giant knobs protruding from some other tactical scopes, Burris TAC-2 knobs provide ease-of-use, easy accessibility, dust covers to keep the dirt, dust and rust out of the adjustment system and a fairly low profile to facilitate more comfortable carry in the field.
Burris TAC-2 Low Profile Tactical Adjustment Knobs
Burris TAC 2 Adjustment Knobs are not the giant knobs seen on some tactical riflescopes. Rather, Buris TAC2 knobs provide ease-of-use, easy accessibility, dust covers to keep the dirt and dust out of the adjustment system, and are low profile to facilitate more comfortable carry in the field, yet large enough to use with gloves.
Notice that the Radial Dial, which helps indicate which revolution the knob is rotated to, has four scales of reference around the dial. As the Radial Dial is not adjustable, the scale most easily viewed may not be aligned in the center of the adjustment turret. This is a function of the low profile design and is not an assembly flaw or poor workmanship. The design assures that at least one of the four scales is viewable from the shooting position.
Once you?ve sighted-in your rifle and want to re-set the Adjustment Knobs to zero, slightly loosen the three set screws on the top of the knob, rotate the knob to where you want it, and tighten the set screws. The adjustment knobs are reverse threaded to the adjustment system so after you loosen the set screws and turn the knob clockwise roughly three revolutions, the knob will come off. Don?t worry, you have not broken anything, you just need to screw the knob back onto the assembly backwards to the zero location you desire and tighten the set screws.
