Bogen Manfrotto View Aluminum Tripod Kit 701RC2-055XV (formerly 701RC2-055V) is aluminum equivalent of Bogen Manfrotto View Carbon Fiber Kit 701RC2-055MFV that provides the same outstanding performance at a slightly higher overall weight. Bogen Manfrotto View Aluminum Kit 701RC2-055XV is comprised of the Bogen Manfrotto 701RC2 fluid head and the Bogen Manfrotto 055XV Aluminum Tripod (formerly Bogen 055V Tripod).

Bogen Manfrotto 055 XV Aluminum Tripod features four different leg angle options to achieve lower heights; foam rubber padding to protect your hands against the heat and cold; and quick-action leg locks to quickly and quietly set the tripod into position. In addition, the aluminum Bogen Manfrotto Tripods 055XV feature non-glare finishing: the aluminum is painted with a dark green color.

Bogen Manfrotto 701RC2 Video Head is a small and lightweight fluid video head, that is capable of accommodating payloads up to 9lbs, and is ideal for setups such as a fully loaded Panasonic DVX100A, Sony PD170, and Canon GL2.

Bogen Manfrotto 701RC2 Video Head is one of the most compact and lightweight 2-movement head found on the market, and was designed principally to support the latest digital video equipment, including Mini DV and prosumer/professional grade DVCAMs. In addition, the Bogen Manfrotto 701RC2 Tripod Head is well-suited for still photography cameras with medium and long telephoto lenses.

Bogen Manfrotto 701RC2 Video Head has a fixed length pan bar with a soft handle and separate locking mechanisms. It is also equipped with a sliding quick-release video plate system and a fixed counter-balance spring to perfectly position uneven loads.
