Two temperature sensors, placed in the upper and lower areas of the chamber, are located in liquid-loaded, blood-bag shaped monitor bottles. A highly efficient compressor provides rapid cooling and quiet performance. Temperature accuracy and defrost are precisely controlled by a microprocessor. Separated, transparent inner doors and magnetic sealed outer doors with double-paned glass windows prevent air leakage. The large air circulation fan enables rapid temperature recovery after door openings. Model 87001-958 is outfitted with a double circulation fan. User-friendly design features a fluorescent interior lamp with a switch, stainless steel drawers, and a large window in the outer door to provide a clear view of stored items. The easy-to-see digital display can be calibrated through the control panel. To safeguard the contents, the units have audible and flashing LED visual alarms with remote alarm contacts to signal power failure, improper temperature condition, or thermal sensor abnormality.
