The [PHI]690 meter (BK511017) adds capabilities for both direct and incremental measurements of concentration by ion selective electrodes (ISE). Incremental methods include standard addition/subtraction and analyte addition/subtraction. Direct method also allows a sample blank to be run.

Fast and easy one- to five-point calibration with Auto-Find* automatic buffer recognition for five buffers (pH 1.68, 4.00, 7.00, 10.01, and 12.45), as well as Auto-Read* for locking onto stable readings. Standard buffers can be substituted with alternate buffers (pH 6.86, 7.41, 9.18, and 11.88) while maintaining automatic buffer recognition. In addition, the system supports five custom buffers and compensates for the isopotential point.

Calibration data (mV, Eo, and slope) can be reviewed at any time. Temperature displayed in °C or °F or may be input manually. Audible alerts may be activated at set limits.

GLP/GMP features such as date/time stamp for each calibration and measurement are included. Printout contains detailed sample and standard(s) information. Fully menu-driven matrix LCD displays results, temperature, status messages, and icons. System also includes context-sensitive help screens and features a recorder output.
